But this shouldn’t exactly come as a surprise, especially considering that Kardashian’s debut cosmetics collection under the KKW Beauty brand sold out within minutes, bringing in $13.5 million in sales. Kardashian’s massive influence, selling out a whopping $10 Million dollars-worth perfumes in just one day, according to TMZ, has set new records in the marketing industry. More interestingly these sales didn’t come through billboard ads, extravagant launch parties or sample scents stucked inside the latest issue of Vogue-it was all in the KKW name.
Of all her three perfumes launched the same day- Wednesday, the first under her own brand, KKW Fragrance, casually netted $10 million within first 24 hours. Scent-wise, it’s extremely sentimental-Crystal Gardenia, Crystal Gardenia Oud and Crystal Gardenia Citrus inspired by the smell of the flowers her late father, Robert Kardashian, brought home from business trips. Packaging-wise, the three opaque quartz crystal fragrance bottles are unlikely any we’ve seen on the market. Packaging is exclusively inspired by the healing crystal gifted to KKW as a way to help clear her mind after the horrifying Paris robbery last year.
